Developer & AI tools

The Agility Credit docs are built for AI-assisted development. Connect Claude, Cursor or VS Code with the MCP server, or give any assistant the Markdown docs and llms.txt. It then reads the same endpoints, schemas and error codes you do, so the code it writes matches the real API.

You'll also find the OpenAPI spec and a ready-to-use Postman collection.

OpenAPI spec

FileUse it for
openapi.yamlThe full API: generate clients, import into API tools, validate requests.
agc-scim-openapi.yamlThe SCIM provisioning API.

You can also download the spec from Export on the API reference overview.

Postman collection

Download the Postman collection, then in Postman choose Import and drop in the file.

  1. Open the collection's Variables tab.
  2. Set apiKey, tenantId and userId. Agility Credit provides your tenant ID and first user ID; create API keys in the portal under Settings → Account → API Keys.
  3. baseUrl is set to production. For UAT, change it to https://api.agc-dev.com/v3 and use your UAT key (UAT and production use separate keys).

Every request reuses those variables, and each POST sends a fresh Idempotency-Key. Request bodies contain placeholder values only.

Docs for AI assistants

The docs are available as plain Markdown, so AI assistants and tools that don't run JavaScript get the full reference, including parameters and schemas.

URLWhat it is
/llms.txtAn index of every page, following the llms.txt convention.
/llms-full.txtThe whole documentation in one file. Paste it into a chat or a project's knowledge.
Any page URL + .mdThe Markdown version of that page, for example /api/make-inquiry.md.

MCP server

The Agility Credit docs MCP server lets assistants that support the Model Context Protocol, such as Claude, Cursor and VS Code, look up endpoints, schemas, headers and errors while you work.

It is read-only: it reads the published OpenAPI spec and never calls the Agility Credit API. It needs no API key and sends no data anywhere except to fetch the spec from this site. It requires Node.js 18 or later.

Claude Code

claude mcp add agility-credit-docs -- npx -y @agilitycredit/docs-mcp

Claude Desktop, Cursor (claude_desktop_config.json or .cursor/mcp.json):

{
"mcpServers": {
"agility-credit-docs": {
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@agilitycredit/docs-mcp"]
}
}
}

VS Code (.vscode/mcp.json):

{
"servers": {
"agility-credit-docs": {
"type": "stdio",
"command": "npx",
"args": ["-y", "@agilitycredit/docs-mcp"]
}
}
}

The package is @agilitycredit/docs-mcp on npm.

ToolWhat it does
list_endpointsLists endpoints, optionally filtered by tag or keyword.
get_endpointFull details for one endpoint: headers, request body, responses.
get_schemaA named schema with references resolved.
search_apiKeyword search across endpoints and schemas.
get_platform_basicsEnvironments, authentication, common headers, rate limits and error codes.

Then ask your assistant things like "Which headers does POST /credit-reports need?" or "Write a Python function that runs an OFAC check."
